Matchplay Rules and Entry Fees 2018/2019

All entry fees for the upcoming matchplay competitions will all be paid through the professional shop. This will apply for both men and ladies. This will ensure that all entry fees can be managed accordingly. Entry fees will continue at £3.00 for singles and £5.00 for doubles.
The following rules are applicable for all matchplay competitions and should be followed for the entirety of the competition.
1 – Entry fees ‘must’ be made before play of the first round in the professional shop.
2 – All matchplay competitions are played off the following tees.
- Mens – White Tees
- Seniors – Yellow Tees
- Ladies – Red Tees
3 – When arranging dates both midweek and weekend dates must be offered if necessary to accommodate all members including those that may work during the week.
4 – To ensure that there aren’t any matches that run past the deadline offered the following rules will apply.
- No communication from either party will be determined by a coin toss.
- Any effort made by one party solely, that player will be deemed the winner of the round and be put through to the next round.
- Either player can make contact with their opponent, please don’t wait for the top player to make contact with the player at the bottom.
- In exceptional circumstances with PRIOR notice given to either a captain of the respective competition or the professional shop with Rob a small extension will be granted.
